Miranda Project

The Miranda Project tenements lie predominantly within the Central Kalkadoon – Leichardt Belt of the Mount Isa Inlier, with one tenement (EPM 17646) occurring within the Mary Kathleen Group of the Easter Fold Belt. The region is prospective for Cu and the tenements all lie within 40km of the Mount Cuthbert copper deposit.

All known copper mineralisation of the area is confined to shears or dilational zones developed at the intersection of two or more structures. Typically, the deposits are zoned from malachite/azurite and/or chrysocolla at surface to chalcocite, cuprite, tenorite and native copper in the transition zone, to chalcopyrite at depth.
